AKUT FOUNDATION Culture and Art Club Children’s Theater Group, which set out with the slogan “Generations Raised with Risk and Disaster Awareness are Ready for Earthquakes” and met with its audience with the grant support given by the Consulate General of Sweden in Istanbul, created a project with the children’s play “AKUT BORN FROM UNITY“, which it aims to transform the culture of fear into a culture of safe life. It reached 2,765 students through the game and 10,000 students through the game’s awareness booklet and seminars.
The content of the game and the infrastructure of the booklet have been prepared in line with the information created by the volunteers of the AKUT FOUNDATION Seminar Unit.

“The children’s game called “AKUT IS BORN FROM UNITY”, which we present to children, is just one of our efforts to make the society more conscious of disasters. AKUT FOUNDATION, which has carried out many projects with and/or children before, attaches great importance to producing original projects for our children, without forgetting that today’s children are the leaders of tomorrow and that we can save our future only with them.
We would be happy if we could contribute to Turkey’s becoming a disaster-resistant society with this unique project, which we prepared to contribute to the growth of our children in disasters, emergencies, earthquakes and above all, a safe life culture.”
