AKUT FOUNDATION UNITS

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES UNIT

Manages the human resources structure of AKUT Foundation Information Technologies Unit.
Determines AKUT Foundation’s information technology goals.
Determines the outlines and budgets of the projects of the information technology unit.
Manages a team of consultants, programmers, developers and analysts.
Ensures and controls information security.
Provides control, security and updates of digital technologies.
Carries out digital archiving activities.
Prepares all reports related to the unit and submits them to the AKUT Foundation Board of Directors at regular intervals.

TRAINING UNIT

Manages the human resource structuring of AKUT Foundation Training Unit.
Determines the internal and external trainings that AKUT Foundation volunteers should receive within the scope of in-service training. AKUT Foundation prepares the contents of the trainings it will provide to its volunteers with its own staff; makes the planning; realizes the implementation.
It determines the trainings that AKUT Foundation volunteers need to receive from other organizations and the participants, and realizes the planning of the trainings.
Prepares the content of online trainings; makes the planning; realizes the implementation.
Prepares the contents of the trainings to be given outside the organization; makes the planning; realizes the implementation.
Prepares educational content within the scope of community awareness raising activities.
Prepares seminar contents within the scope of community awareness raising activities.
Provides seminars within the scope of community awareness raising activities.
Prepares all reports related to the unit and submits them to the AKUT Foundation Board of Directors at regular intervals.

HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT

Manages the human resources structure of AKUT Foundation Human Resources Unit.
Determines the criteria for membership to AKUT Foundation.
Evaluates membership requests received by AKUT Foundation and conducts interviews with candidates.
Directs members coming to AKUT Foundation to the right unit.
AKUT Foundation analyzes the individual capabilities of its members with the Education Unit and categorizes them according to their competencies.
Manages the KVKK process.
Organizes events to improve member relations.
Prepares all reports related to the unit and submits them to the AKUT Foundation Board of Directors at regular intervals.

RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT UNIT

Manages the human resource structuring of AKUT Foundation Resource Development Unit.
Manages AKUT Foundation’s in-kind donation and cash donation activities.
Negotiates with domestic and foreign institutions/organizations in order to provide the necessary resources for AKUT Foundation to carry out its activities.
Follows new trends in fundraising.
Contributes to the feasibility study of the projects to be carried out.
Develops projects and supports the projects developed.
Contributes to the development of products/services in the Foundation’s economic enterprise.
Prepares all reports related to the unit and submits them to the AKUT Foundation Board of Directors at regular intervals.

CORPORATE COMMUNICATION UNIT

Manages the human resources structure of AKUT Foundation Corporate Communications Unit.
Produces social media content and manages the work.
Produces media content and manages the work.
Produces design content and manages the work.
Prepares press releases and shares them with the public.
Prepares press releases and shares them with the public.
Produces web page content and manages the work.
It represents the Foundation to all institutions/organizations, especially public institutions, and the public.
Prepares all reports related to the unit and submits them to the AKUT Foundation Board of Directors at regular intervals.

LOGISTICS UNIT

Manages the human resource structuring of AKUT Foundation Logistics Unit.
Manages the logistics goals and responsibilities of AKUT Foundation.
Determines, realizes and controls stock inputs and outputs.
Determines the technical equipment and personal protective equipment needed by volunteers, opens a purchase request, and directs the material within the scope of the relevant project.
Decides on the content and quantity of both technical and all other humanitarian aid materials to be sent to the field in disasters and emergencies, and opens a purchase request when necessary.
Determines the criteria for in-kind donation materials.
In disasters and emergencies, it dispatches materials to the field, takes an active role in their distribution in the field, and carries out all official procedures related to material dispatch.
Prepares all reports related to the unit and submits them to the AKUT Foundation Board of Directors at regular intervals.

FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS UNIT

Manages the human resource structure of AKUT Foundation Financial and Administrative Affairs Unit.
Prepares the payment schedule and makes payments.
Prepares a receivables calendar and monitors receivables.
Controls and supports the work of the Resource Development Unit.
Manages cash flow.
Regularly monitors compliance with budget planning.
Tracks and accounts for in-kind and cash donations of projects.
Follows the minutes of expenditures and accounts for them.
Monitors and accounts for purchases of operational expenditures.
Carries out accounting transactions and provides regular information transfer to the financial advisor.
Prepares for the audit and represents the Foundation in the audit.
Prepares all reports related to the unit and submits them to the AKUT Foundation Board of Directors at regular intervals.
