AKUT Foundation’s project supported by the Republic of Turkey Central Finance and Contracts Unit and the European Union; It was created in order to develop an education curriculum with the achievements of primary school children knowing their own rights and responsibilities, respecting the rights of others, and gaining awareness of a safe life.
Young people between the ages of 10-15 living in kindergartens affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Policies participated in the project, which was realized with the partnership of AKUT Foundation, Child Rights Summit and Development Association and AKUT Search and Rescue Association. 200 children were reached through the five-day training sessions held in 4 institutions in Istanbul. At the same time, a board game on children’s rights was developed and a workshop was organized within the scope of the project.
